Kip Meek
Kip graduated Valedictorian of his class from Ector High School. He worked at Best Pawn in Sherman for four and a half years. He had been working at Brookshires in McKinney for six and a half years when the owner from Best Pawn approached him to purchase the Bonham location. In March of 2000, he became the owner of Loan Star Pawn LLC. then located at 300 Chestnut St. The business has since grown and in 2014 moved to its current 14,000-square-foot location.
Jayme Meek
Jayme is a Salutatorian graduate of Ector High School and a U.S. Navy Veteran. She moved back to Texas in 2005 and met Kip the following year. In 2016 she enrolled at TIJT for the jewelry program. She has been a bench jeweler at Loan Star Pawn since 2018.
Lou Ann Meek
Lou Ann was born and raised in Ector, Texas, and is a graduate of Ector ISD. She has 26 years of banking experience and 23 of experience at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Lou Ann is the proud mother of two sons and two daughters-in-law. She is the grandmother to two grandsons and great-grandmother to two boys and one girl. Lou Ann has been the bookkeeper for Loan Star Pawn for 24 years now. Lou Ann values the time she spends with her family because they are the most important thing to her.
Justin Barron
Justin is a graduate of Savoy High School and is the longest-tenured employee at Loan Star Pawn. Justin joined the team in 2004 and has been with us through all of our growth. He is a certified Bow Tech & specializes in thermal image devices and all other optics.
Joey Mangum
Joey is a graduate of Pottsboro High School and a veteran in the U.S. Army as airborne infantry. After the Army, he worked fifteen years in various retail sales jobs as well as a butcher for Kroger and Brookshires. In October 2020, Joey joined the Loan Star Pawn family. He team he has earned his certification in Bow Tech, Armorer, and Gunsmithing. .
Kirk Meek
Kirk is a graduate of Ector High School. After high school, Kirk worked at Brookshires as an assistant manager and then moved on to work in the telecommunication industry for the next eight years. Kirk married Trica. As their two boys Garrett and Colby got more involved in school Kirk, joined the Loan Star Pawn team in 2005. Kirk is outgoing and well-known to all of our customers. Kirk's most proud title is Duck Duck to his three grandchildren.
Kate Medford
Kate is a graduate of Home School. She obtained her certification as a bench jeweler at the Texas Institute of Jewelry Technology in Paris as well as computer Aid Design. She joined the Loan Star Pawn family in April of 2022. Kate is active in her church and loves spending time with her family.
